Boston Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony!

It's that time of year again! December 2nd marks the official tree lighting in the Boston Common. This is a free event that will take place from 6-8pm open to folks of all ages. What better way to kick off the start to your holiday season than to experience the lighting of over 80 trees! Also, enjoy special entertainment such as the Radio City Rockettes, American idol's 2006 runner-up, Katharine Mcphee and Boston Pops gospel Choir with special guest conductor Keith Lockhart, just to name a few! There is much to do and see here with refreshments and fun give-a-ways. While in town why not take a skate on the common's frog pond? This is a great way to get into the holiday spirit with a loved one, family or friends...And from all of us @ Basically Boston to you-Happy Holidays!!
