Comics Come Home
Happy..um..November? We here at Basically Boston hope you had a great Halloween weekend! As we enter one of the not so exciting months of the year, do not fret, we'll be continuing to give you lots of ideas for things to do, places to see, etc. Besides looking forward to my personal favorite holiday (Thanksgiving. yum), I am excited for a lot of events happening in and around greater Boston in the next coming weeks.
Saturday, November 13th, hometown funny boy, Denis Leary, will host an all star night of comedy, known as Comics Come Home. Performing alongside Leary, one will have the chance to see Adam Ferrara, Lenny Clarke, Jim Norton, Steven Wright, Joe Yannetty, Pete Correale, Jimmy Dunn and Thomas Dale. Tickets do not only ensure you a night full of laughs, but also benefit a great cause. The show is thrown by Bruins Hall of Famer, Cam Neely, and his foundation dedicated to Cancer Research. Comics Come Home is the longest running, most successful, comedy benefit in the country!
The show will be held at Boston University's Agganis Arena, located right on convenient Commonwealth Ave. This is a prime location for before or after dinner and drinks! Be sure to check out some stops by Fenway, such as Cask N Flaggon, Boston Beer Works, and The Landsdowne Pub!
