"One Day. One Thousand Memories": King Richard's Faire
King Richard's Faire has been a landmark festival in New England for many years. It is not only the oldest, but is the largest Renaissance Fair that New England has to offer! However, this festival ends October 24th and the time to go is now!
Located in Carver, Massachusetts (only about an hour south of Boston, heading towards Cape Cod), King Richard's Faire is a day of fun for the entire family. Adult tickets (ages 12+) are $26, children tickets are $15, and children under age 4 are free! The entrance fee allows one to transport back in time to a time of the European Renaissance.
At King Richard's, one can find dancers, jousters, knights, kings and queens! There are a variety of events featuring acrobats, jugglers, beautiful horses, and an exotic royal zoo (which holds a real life Liger!)
There is also an extreme variety of different foods and drinks for the whole family to enjoy! Take a bite out of an authentic piece meat while sipping your favorite brew (or soda). There are also several modern day vendors, as well as vegetarian options too!
So, with only a few weeks left to enjoy this great festival, make sure to take a day off, step back in time and head down to Carver, MA. King Richard's Faire will surely not disappoint! For more information, including contact information, please visit King Richard's official website

The expression on little kid's face in the top photo cracks me up.
