The Wine Riot!

This weekend, check out The Wine Riot presented by Second Glass. Second Glass is a Boston-based company that was founded in 2006. With a small office located in Chinatown, this once side-project has really expanded. Their mission is to educate people throughout Boston about wine and encourage them to drink more of it. Their goal is to provide people with knowledge of the different styles and techniques, rather than critique wine.

This expo-style wine tasting event will be held in Boston on Friday and Saturday October 22nd and 23rd. 250 different types of wine from around the world will be available for tasting at this year's Wine Riot. Delicious food pairings from some of Boston's local restaurants will be available for under $5.00. This is a perfect way to spend a night out with colleagues, friends, or even a date. The Wine Riot prides itself on being different than "your parent's wine tasting." Featuring a DJ, Photo booth and Wine seminars, this event is appealing to the younger crowd. So whether you're new to the wine scene, or you consider yourself a wine connoisseur; buy tickets and head to Boston's Center for the Arts in the South End.

Tickets have been on sale since August 12th, so act now!! Your ticket grants you access to sample all 250 different wines, attend any of the crash course wine seminars, have your photo taken in the Second Glass photo booth, and learn tons of new wine info! Admission to Opening Night on Friday, October 22nd from 7-11PM is $55.00. Tickets for Riot One held on Saturday, October 23rd from 1-5PM are available for $45.00. Riot Two tickets are on sale for Saturday night, October 23rd from 7-11PM for $45.00 as well. All attendees must be 21 and must present valid photo identification at the event. These tickets may seem a little pricey, but this event will definitely be worth while. Try something different this weekend and you might even learn something new!
