It's breast cancer awareness month and many of us have been affected by a woman we love having had breast cancer. 1 in every 8 woman will get breast cancer in her lifetime and breast cancer is the most common cancer among woman. Next Thursday October 14th, from 7-10pm, there is an event taking place at the Liberty Tree Hotel in Boston that will raise money for those suffering from the disease. Tickets are 100$ a piece and include a cocktail hour, hors d'eourves, a gift bag worth $200 and of course the main attraction, the fashion show! This may seem a little pricey but isn't it better giving to those who can really benefit rather than spending that money on another pair of shoes? Sounds like a really fun girls night out and another way of supporting women and helping try and put a stop to this awful disease.
